BDIC Team | Updated March 2026 | Announcements
Blockchain Deposit Insurance Corporation (BDIC) is preparing a dedicated Token Sale hub ahead of its planned Q2 2026 primary token distribution — giving the community, prospective participants, and institutional partners a single, authoritative destination for information about BDIC Coin and how it works.
The Token Sale hub is being built to serve one purpose: clarity. Visitors will be able to:
- Understand the role and utility of BDIC Coin within the BDIC protocol
- Review tokenomics, reserve structure, and vesting schedules
- Access the Token Disclosure Pack, smart contract audit reports, and governance documentation as they are published prior to the Token Sale
- Complete KYC/AML verification and join the official whitelist

What is BDIC Coin?
BDIC Coin is a utility token issued by Blockchain Deposit Insurance Corporation (BDIC) to enable access to BDIC’s on-chain insurance services and governance. BDIC Coin is used to pay insurance premiums and protocol fees, participate in on-chain governance, stake to support protocol risk-management functions, and settle approved insurance claims. BDIC Coin does not represent equity, debt, or ownership in BDIC, and is not marketed as an investment vehicle.
Utility from Day One
BDIC Coin is designed to function within a live insurance protocol, not as a speculative asset. The Token Sale is planned for Q2 2026, aligned with the deployment of BDIC’s on-chain insurance infrastructure — ensuring that token holders have immediate access to the protocol functions BDIC Coin is built for.
BDIC provides dual-tier crypto deposit insurance covering $0–$10,000 (Standard tier) and $10,000–$20,000 (Preferred tier), with claims processed via smart contracts. Less than 2% of crypto assets are currently insured. BDIC was built to close that gap.
